What defines day time style vs night style? Thoughts? -- leave a comment

Long blazer with brown fringed bag, lace leggings and gold sandals.

Fitted jacket, buttoned vest with grey jeans. Tan leather belt and shoes. 

Dark aviators, oversized trench, (collar up, sleeves rolled), hoodie and graphic tee. Dark skinnies and leather lace-ups. 

Outside the Vancouver Public Library. Black leather bomber, skinny tie, straight-leg khakis with leather lace-up shoes. 

Proof that done right, matchy matchy can work. Red sunnies and red flared, cropped jacket. Darn skinnies with brown leather boots.

Granville Street: Black utilitarian jacket with cropped sleeves and suede slouchy boots. 

Robson Street. Working the boyfriend jeans with striped socks and a black trench. Amazing silver and tan leather bag, love the hot pink lipstick.

New Meanings

A few words of wisdom from the London College of Fashion's magazine: Pigeons&Peacocks, definintions by Pascal Wyse.

Salty: "As in, 'Oh my god that outfit is totally salty'. Meaning it is 'over-seasoned', meaning it is very much from last season."

Furting: "Getting the anti-fur lobby off your back by wearing only live animals. Dubbed the Wintour Warmer, a wriggling fox around the neck is a cozy way to keep out cold. Baby crocodile handbags are also popular, since they ward off muggers."

Bringing the 90s back with a vengeance. Grey deep-V with black hoodie and old school denim jacket, pleather leggings and doc martens. Fantastic.

Robson St. This girl looked so effortlessly chic in her tuxedo style blazer, white shirt, black skinnies and amazing black patent strappy wedges with black socks. 

Keepin it real at Celebrities in a plaid button down and new era hat.

Meanwhile in an alley in Gastown... striped Coach purse, faux fur Elizabeth and James sweater, boyfriend jeans and Tory Burch brown leather flats, Missoni shades. This puts her in the mood to twirl.

Spring has arrived! A braided leather headband with silk flowers by Monika Loevenmark, Cynthia Rowley leopard print silk dress, cream sweater, vintage belt, pink leather purse and red leather boots.

Dressed for the Bourbon: new era hat, grey tanks, vintage belt, American Apparel skirt, black suede ankle boots.

Far right: highlighter yellow tee with deep v-neck and tiger print, black high waisted skirt and black leather ankle boots. Not too mention a new haircut!

Printed high-waisted skirt worn as a dress with mini denim vest and tights. She also had on rad dark brown leather shoes. 

Black body suit with a shortened vintage skirt, patent black wedges and a highlighter yellow clutch that's covered in cool club cards.
